Champion Sports was established in 1992 and has grown to become Irelands leading retailer of sports clothing and footwear in Ireland. Since the first store opened in 1992, the company has experienced dramatic growth rates in the intervening years.  In 1999 Champion Sports took over the rival chain Marathon Sports and successfully rebranded the chain under the Champion Logo.

The group was recently acquired by PCP One Limited, led by Managing Director John Quinn.

Champion has a high quality network of 23 stores in Ireland’s premium retail locations.
